
A 10-year-old girl required a two-hour operation and 45 stitches after being bitten by a neighbor's German Shepherd in the Lodha Eternis housing society in Andheri (East). The girl's parents filed an FIR against the dog owners, who had reportedly been involved in two previous attacks. The incident occurred when the girl was visiting a friend in building number five and the friend's dog escaped through an open door. The child was rushed to Hiranandani Hospital for treatment. The society is taking steps to address the situation and prevent further incidents.
