Mumbai: WR work on 6th line to hit local train services

Western Railway (WR) has begun the process of operationalizing the sixth line between Khar and Goregaon, which will have a significant impact on train services from October 25 to November 4. The infrastructure upgrade aims to improve the number of services on WR and will separate mail/express trains from suburban trains. The work is expected to be completed by the first week of November, after which services will be increased by 20% on WR.
