A group of senior clerics has urged Muslims not to use DJ music, dance, and firecrackers during the celebrations of Prophet Muhammad's birthday, calling them "haram" or forbidden. These practices are considered un-Islamic and a sin. The clerics emphasized the need to celebrate with decorum and decency. Former minister Arif Naseem Khan has already appealed to participants of the Eid-e-Milad processions to refrain from using DJ music. The focus should be on charity and good works instead of activities that create nuisance and bring no blessings to the community.
