The Bombay High Court has quashed a case against a motorcyclist who was accused of rash and dangerous driving during a special drive against wrong-side driving. The court ruled in favor of the accused, stating that there was no evidence to suggest rashness or negligence on his part. The court also found that the charges invoked under the Motor Vehicles Act were not warranted. However, the accused will have to pay Rs 15,000 to the Central Police Welfare Fund as a cost.
