Full autonomy for JJ School of arts & architecture soon

The Sir JJ Schools of Art, Architecture and Design will together be accorded university status soon-a long-time ambition of the institutions and their illustrious alumni. The plan to convert the 166-year-old institute with an unparalleled legacy, into a deemed university in the de-novo category, finally got the state cabinet's nod on Wednesday.
