Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday expressed the state's resolve to build a consensus on releasing usable salt pan lands locked by the government in 1991 as non-development zones (NDZs), saying unless the buildable unnatural salt pan lands are not utilised, "we will not be able to achieve quick rehabilitation and redevelopment of slum-occupied lands across the city".
