Matunga woman duped of Rs 1.7 lakh by UK suitor

A 27-year-old woman looking for a groom on a matrimonial site was duped by a man who claimed to be from the UK and chatted with her on social media. He told her one day that he had arrived in India to meet her but was caught up at the Foreign Registration Office and asked her to transfer money.
