Pan-bidi shop not given to owner, 2 years jail for bldr

A district consumer commission on Friday convicted and sentenced builder Pujit Aggarwal to two years and nine months imprisonment for failing to hand over a redeveloped shop along with transit rent of Rs 3,500 every month from January 2009 to a Jogeshwari-based 91-year-old woman, a pan bidi seller, despite the consumer forum and state commission's orders.
