Issue warrant against cop for his lack of response: HC

The Bombay high court has ordered the issuance of a bailable warrant of Rs 5,000 against a Pune police officer who, despite a two-week adjournment granted to enable his response, did not respond to repeated intimations or appear in court as the investigating officer (IO) of the case where an accused was seeking pre-arrest bail.
