BMC urges suburban collector to hand over 16 lakes

With plans to rejuvenate 18 lakes in Malad, the BMC on December 8 wrote to the Mumbai suburban collector requesting to hand over 16 water bodies to them so that works can be taken up. Of the 18 lakes, two are developed by the BMC while the rest are under Maharashtra government.
