Shinde insisted ex-CM must join cabinet: Maha BJP chief

State BJP president Chandrakant Patil said on Friday that Devendra Fadnavis had joined the state cabinet because of CM Eknath Shinde's insistence. Patil indicated it was Fadnavis who approached the party leadership with the proposal of deputy CM and the central leadership merely okayed it.
