Lake levels rise from 11% to 40% in just 10 days in Mumbai

The water stock in the seven lakes supplying the city has shot up from 11% to 40% since the beginning of the month. Ten days ago, the total water stock in the lakes was only about 1.6 lakh million litres, or 11% of their full capacity of about 14.5 lakh million litres.
