Mumbai GPO gets a makeover, dome to be illuminated

In a city where most historic buildings lie in anguished disrepair, a glorious gem will soon reveal itself. The 110-year-old Mumbai General Post Office (GPO) is in the midst of a massive makeover which will conclude with the illumination of the dome that is the second largest one in India-after the Gol Gumbaz.
