Infant death registration in Maha falls 20% in pandemic

Registration of infant deaths in the state which has been traditionally sub-optimal took a bigger hit in the first year of pandemic. It saw a drop of about 20% with a big decline in rural areas, shows the Registrar General of India’s latest report.
