The sessions court here sentenced to death a 33-year-old porter for the abduction, rape and murder of a seven-year-old girl in Bhiwandi in 2019. Bharatkumar Dhaniram Kori, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was convicted by special Pocso judge K D Shirbhate, who held him guilty of a number of charges under the IPC and Pocso.
