Maha MLA Rane asked to pledge good conduct

Initiating chapter proceedings against BJP MLA Nitesh Rane, the assistant commissioner of police (Malwani division) has sent a showcause notice asking why he shouldn't be asked to sign a Rs 5-lakh bond of good behaviour for one year. It says there is a "strong possibility his unruly conduct could result in breach of peace or create a law and order problem in the area".
