Bombay HC asks state to pay Rs 10 lakh in 3 weeks to widow of scavenger who died in manhole

Bombay high court on Wednesday directed the state government to pay Rs 10 lakh compensation within 3 weeks to the widow of a man, a "manual scavenger", who choked to death in May 2017 after falling inside a manhole at Chandivali, Andheri (East).
