Covid-19: Omicron accounts for 89% cases in Mumbai

The latest round of genome sequencing has found that Omicron is the dominant strain in the city. In the eighth round of sequencing, a total of 373 samples were sequenced at the laboratory in Kasturba Hospital. Of these, 280 samples belonged to Mumbai residents.
