Thane woman held for smuggling foreign notes

A woman from Thane was arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) for allegedly trying to smuggle foreign currency worth Rs 25 lakh at Varanasi airport on Monday. A resident of Ulhasnagar, the 27-year-old woman said that she was a cash courier working for an Ulhasnagar-based smuggling cartel.
