Rain lashes parts of Mumbai, Thane; yellow alert issued

The city has been experiencing moderate to intense spells of rain since the wee hours of Tuesday. The metropolis, its neighbouring Thane, Palghar, Navi Mumbai and adjoining districts in the Konkan region woke up to heavy downpour on Wednesday.
